• Occupational: bird store, vet, poultry processor
• Pet exposure

191.2.0.3 必背 — Treatment

• Doxycycline 100 bid × 14d for both
• 14-21d for C. psittaci
• β-lactam NOT effective
• Macrolide / FQ alternatives

191.2.0.4 必背 — C. psittaci Distinct Features

• Severe headache + fever
• Hepatosplenomegaly
• Faget sign (relative bradycardia)
• Mimics typhoid

191.2.0.5 必背 — Atypical CAP — Atypicals Group

• M. pneumoniae
• Legionella
• C. pneumoniae
• C. psittaci
• Coxiella burnetii (Q fever)
• All require macrolide / doxy / FQ (NOT β-lactam alone)
